if you fail to install linux on a Dell PowerEdge with percraid on board,
that's because the legacy kernel doesn't include support for them yet
(haven't check 2.4.0-test4 though, nor the 2.2.17pre-)
however, a patch exists, adding an "aacraid" module that supports
DELL PowerEdge 2450 2400 6400, and especially the perc2 raid array
controller
AFAIK, this patch is included in redhat 6.2, and Mandrake 7.1 update.
