aic7xxx.o Kernel panic w 2.2.16-6
Changed Kernel 2.2.12-32 (RedHat 6.1) to 2.2.16-6.
2.2.12-32 running fine on a HP NetServer LC4
with embedded AHA2740 SCSI (EISA).
Kernel 2.2.16-6 did not boot with new aic7xxx.o:
enable_irq() unbalanced from c4812e26
Adaptec AHA274x (EISA) 5.1.28/3.2.4
... Scannig scsi0 ...
(scsi0) BRKADRINT error(0x2):
Illegal Seqencer Address referenced
(scsi0) SEQADDR=0x0
Kernel panic: aic7xxx: unrecoverable BRKADRINT.
I Compiled old (2.2.12-32) aic7xxx.c within 2.2.16-6 source tree ->
Running fine! Some changes in aic7xxx must be incompatible.
Please Help. Want new kernel running completely.
