I wonder if anybody has got this configuration to work. It seems like the
Aha2940UW and the Micronics M54Pe are not good friends. I have tried the
same scsi subsystem om several other machines and they all work fine. The
subsystem consists of the AHA and 1 Segate ST32550W and 1 IBM 2Gb
Wide (Starfire or somehing).
Is this a problem with other Micronics bord as well or just with the
M54pe (dual pentium). The Adaptec is the only scsi bord that doesn work
with the M54pe. The M54pe has a bios from phoenics.
Linux kernel used are a patched 1.2.13 and 2.0.0 to 2.0.21. All these
work fine on the other machines i have tried!
It is not a DMA or IRQ error :) - none that i can find!
