Hi all,
I am running Linux (kernel 2.2.14) on a Compaq Presario 1825
laptop with an Iomega PCMCIA SCSI Host adapter.
cardctl ident returns the following:

product info: "Adaptec, Inc.", "APA-1460 SCSI Host Adapter", "Version 0.01"
manfid: 0x012f, 0x0002
The relevant portion of the /var/log/messages is:

I need to disable disconnection/reconnection, similar to what I would do
in the SCSISelect Utility with an ISA or PCI SCSI Host adapter on a
desktop PC.
I presume this would be accomplished by means of command-line parameters
in the startup scripts.
Can I do what I'm trying to do?
If so, where is the procedure documented?
Any pointers/enlightenment, etc, would be greatly appreciated.
