tmscsim (Tekram DC390/AM53C974) and dc395x_trm (Tekram DC3x5/TRM-S1040) do
both support the residual count. However, only the versions from my web
page, not the ones in the kernel.
For tmscsim, this should change soon. For the dc395x, I don't know ...
=2E.. it's unstable in some situations :-(
