It would seem that earlier this week the Makefile in the
drivers/scsi directory was cleaned up. In the progress
the scsi disk (sd) module changed name:

  prior to 2.4.0-test2-pre? now
  ---------------------------------------
   scsi_mod.o scsi_mod.o
   sd_mod.o sd.o
   sr_mod.o sr_mod.o
   st.o st.o
   sg.o sg.o

Now it might be understandable if all 3 "_mod" variants
were changed to their more obvious names but not on the
eve of 2.4's release. To only change one of them seems
gratuitous. This has already caused at least one query
to the linux kernel mailing list.

Should it be put back?
