Dear all,
OK heres the problem,
Just recieved to new servers with Adaptec 29160N Scsi Card with IBM DDYS-T09170N Drives in them.
Unfortunately there does not appear to be any drivers for them.
So I dutifully went off grabbed the latest patches, created a new kernel:
Kernel boots, detects the card OK, goes to grab the first host 1:
(scsi 0:0:0:0) Synchronous at 160.0Mbyte/sec, offset 63,
(scsi 0:0:0:0) CRC error during Data-In phase
(scsi 0:0:0:0) error in intermediate CRC packet.
scsi : aborting command due to timeout : pid 0, scsi 0, channel 0, id 0, lun 0, Test Unit Ready 00 00 00 00 00
Everything goes pear shaped........
Can anybody help as I have run out of ideas.
With thanks
Michael
