FWIW: I have a FlashPoint at home, and it has been working flawlessly for
around two years now under both Linux and (gulp) Win98. Currently, I have a
1GB IBM disk, 2 2GB barracudas, a Plextor 32x CDROM, and a Yamaha 4616 CD-RW
drive on it.
The BIOS is the original that was on the card when I got it. Perhaps you
are bitten by a drive/HA combo problem? - what make & model are the disk?
