I guess you need the parameters for at least one of two reasons:
1) your aha1520B does not have a BIOS ?
2) the bug for which I sent a patch.
Does your AHA1520B have a BIOS? if you don't know, then one way to see
that your controller have a BIOS is to see if "something extra" is comming
up on startup (before boot)
If it does, are you the able to load your module without
parameters? probably not. If you are not, please try to use my patch, and
then try again to see if it worked, and let me know. If your AHA1520B
does not have a BIOS, then the patch does not change anything.
