After searching this list, freebsd-scsi, Slackware, Dell/docs, Adaptec etc..... appologies if this
is the wrong place but:
Dell PowerEdge 4400 with
AIC-7899 (no RAID)
2 x 9GB 160 IBM
1 x 18GB 160
Slack7 does not see any disks (except CD on the 7880 of course) when booted from
the CDROM. (I have a problem in that I have limited physical access to the box so can't
experiment at present.)
Does the 4400 need aic7xxx=no_probe at boot time? or can anyone help with tips on how
to get 2.2.13 / aic7xxx to see the disks.
Many thanks for any help.
Mark
