I have an interesting problem, and I hope someone out there can help.

First my configuration:

486DX/16MB
On-board IDE w/internal(212MB [Boot]), 3 1/2, CD-ROM (Quad
Adaptec AHA-1520A/AHA-1522A w/internal (270 conner), EZ135Drive SyQuest

I have space on the 270 conner SCSI internal, but not on the 212 IDE
internal (win96 loves MBs [thanks Bill :( ]). Though when I start up
with the Adaptec 152x boot disk and the UMSDOS root disk - it does not
recognize the scsi adapter. What's the problem, is it possible to
install on the scsi drive though it's not the boot? And if so, why is
it not recognizing the scsi controller? Thanks for all the help you
guys can give, thanks a lot.
