Hi,
I am trying to install RH 6.0 or Caldera Open Linux 2.0.29 kernel on my IBM
PC 500 Server which has a P90 Mhz processor
32MB RAM/ IBM SCSI-2 Fast/Wide streaming RAID Adapter/A Controller ........
and MicroChannel Bus
So far I haven't been able to start the installation, everytime I try the
kernel hangs......
The stage I am currently at is trying to boot the RH MCA kernel boot diskt
with boot param :
mca-pentium no-hlt ibmmcascsi=pun
The kernel hangs at:
"IBM MCA SCSI: Removing current logical scsi-device mapping"
Any Ideas? are there any other boot options that i should use?
