Hello, im a spanish linux user. I use Debian 2.1 and i have a big problem
with my new scsi host adapter.
I have an Adaptec AHA 2940 host adapter, and in windows, works very well.
But when i install linux, dont reconize the scsi. So I have a problem to
install.
I install it making the boot disk and now i have the base system, but i cant
make that my linux reconize the scsi. I remake the kernel, but doesn´t work.
If i make the kernel with scsi support, in boot time detects the scsi but like
an AHA2944 and the system hangs up. And to reboot I nedd to Power OFf the
system. Please Help Me!!!! ;) Very Thanks

My computer is a PII 350, 128 Mb RAM, HDD 6g & 17g, my linux partition is the
first in 6g HDD (hda1) and I have an AHA2940, matshita 4x/8x recorder and 40x
Plextor CD-ROm, Creative RIVA TNT 16M, SB 64 Isa.

 Thank YOU.
