Hello!
Inned some help and would be greateful if you could give it.
I need to know how to copile kernel to get my old SCSI card that
was used with ScanJet IIp scanner working.
The card is NCR53C400A.
Should I configure the kernel with MEMORY OR PORT MODE?
Should I ENABLE NCR53C400 EXTENTIONS?
Will this card work with kernel versions 2.0.32, 2.2.11 and 2.3.39?
What options should i use with modprobe?
Something like modprobe ncr_irq=255 ncr_addr=0x051c0000 (???) ncr_53c400 (or ncr_53c400a)=1?
In DOS this card recognized in 051c:0000. In linux?
Thank you in advance. Vladimir
