I'm still working on this boot problem that I told you about earlier.
I'll get /proc/version to you and my boot messages, which I suppose
might have information. Keep in mind I'm quite new at this OS. Someone
asked what my installation was. Well, its straight from Slackware, I'm
going to have to check the version tonight. Its from the
dogbert@empros.com site. (/pub/Linux/Slackware-New)
Until then -- what is an ELF binary, and why are there two differnet
formats at all (a.out and ELF?) Which is newer? And, why was it
designed? (in other words, what was wrong with the first one?)
