I have a Future Domain TMC-1680 SCSI controller with a TMC-18C30 chip and BIOS version 2.01. The auto probe does not detect the BIOS version listed, and the Linux SCSI HOWTO by Drew Eckhardt, drew@cs.colorado.edu, v2.15, 20 March 1995 states there is no way to bypass the auto detection of the controller. I am hoping that there is a possible way around this problem and would greatly appreciate any assistance in helping me resolve this problem so that I can install LINUX on my system.
