Hi,

Any idea when we might see IEEE-1394 support in Linux? It appears to
use a SCSI command set, since the Adaptec 8940 card I have uses aic7xxx
chips on each port, so it would be a logical extension of the SCSI
drivers.

The reason I ask is that I am getting into digital video. I already
have the camera, adapter card and cable and am seriously considering
adding an IEEE-1394 hard drive to facilitate the video capture.
