Do you think the bottleneck could cause the sequential IO write speed to
drop to as low as 1.5MB / Sec?
If this is the case, it seems weird that many "High Performance" branded
machines come with Hot Swap devices which can seat 6 drives each, intended
for hardware RAID access...
