Yes, I'm sure.  Last year, I saw a band in concert called Furious George,
which is a local band from Orlando.  I bought their cd.  I held a
flashlight under the bottom of the disc, and found it was a CD-R (sony).
It works fine in both my stereo and in my discman.

I'll try it soon, my burner is currently in use.
