Hello!
I'm using an Adaptec AHA-2940 together with a Fujitsu M2511A
(mo-drive). This works with kernel 2.0.38. But after upgrading to
2.2.13, I get the following error when I access the drive:
scsi0 channel 0 : resetting for second half of retries.
SCSI bus is being reset for host 0 channel 0.
The new kernel was compiled with the same options as the previous
kernel. Nothing changed, except the kernel. The cable and termination is
okay, I hope.
I tried every setting in the adapter bios and also most of the options
of the scsi-driver. The result is always the same: 2.0.38 works, 2.2.13
doesn't.
When I mount a floppy, the number of bus resets is always the same! It's
exactly 17, every time.
Has anybody an idea?
Christoph.
