I have read your answer on newsgroup Linux-setup
I have a problem.
controller 7896 kernel 2.2.5 ( i tried also 2.2.10) caldera 2.2 ( 2.3)
all is good if i boot system with modular kernel
but i must use vmlinuz non modular and in that mode,=20
the driver aic7xxx read the controller 2 times and hangs after 2 time =
with panic..
i don't know why.. I have configured kernel many times and in many =
different type..
Please help me..
