I am trying to upgrade to Linux 3.0.0 but I am having problems trying to
boot the scsi bootkernel 3.0.0 disk. The Fujitsu M1606S-512 disk at id 0
is detected correctly, but the driver reports continuous timeouts trying
to access the Fujitsu M2694ES-512 disk at id 1. The log goes as follows:
Console: colour EGA+ 80x25, 1 virtual console (max 63)
Calibrating delay loop.. ok - 33.55 BogoMips

The last 11 messages are continually repeated and the only way out is to
reboot using Ctrl-Alt-Del. The behaviour is the same if I try "ramdisk
aha1542=0x330,11,5,5" on the LILO command line.
I am currently running Linux 1.1.59 without any problems on the following
configuration:
IBM PS Valuepoint, 486DX2/66, 16MB
IBM-DALA-3540 516MB (DOS C:)
SCSI controller AHA-1542CF BIOS v2.10
Fujitsu M1606S-512 1Gbyte scsi id 0 /dev/sda

A sample bootkernel log from the sbpcd 1.2.1 bootkernel disk which I used
to install Linux 1.1.59 is as follows:
