Hy guys, I'm new to the list so forgive me in the case of a redundant question:
Is anybody using adaptec technology (aic7xxx) to connect a CMD redundant raid
controller?
We are experiencing VERY random bus lockups (command abort due to timeout),
always leading
to a kernel freeze. Has anybody heard of a stable such configuration?
My bus compliance has been extensively tested, so that the bug is not likely to
reside in termination, cable, power supply, ...
I've already contacted the aic7xxx@FreeBSD.org m.list, as like as the CMD tech.
support.
I'm going to test a symbios/ncr53c8xx alternative, as like as tekram and initio.
Which is the best in your opinion?

Thanks. Roberto
