I am trying to install linux for the first time. I want to install it on a scsi drive
which is not my DOS boot drive. I have adaptec BIOS version 3.10. Because it is not
my only drive (I have a C and D) the adaptec bios is not installed. This all works well
for DOS (part of the scsi drive is a dos partition). No matter what I try I can't get linux
to recognize it. I get the SCSI: 0 hosts message. I tried:
boot: ramdisk aha154x=0x330,11,7,1
boot: ramdisk aha154x=0x330,11,0,1
Both do not work. I also tried both of the above with max_scsi_luns=8 added onto the
end. Still no go. What am I doing wrong??
Thanks in advance
