Hi!
I use Adaptec AHA2940AU as scsi-controller card. When I activate =
SMP-support
in my kernel (I use 2.2.10 now, but have also tried 2.2.12 and 2.3.17), =
my computer refuses to boot. I use SuSE 6.2, and has dual Celeron 366Mhz =
with
Abit BP6.
It says that i have dual prosessors, but!
The error msg is something like this:
It detects the SCSI card, and says that it detects that autotermination
is on and so on...1 scsi host found comes up, and...
It does not find the scsi devices. It says something like it does not =
find, and it is trying harder to find a lot of times (so many times that =
I just reboot).
I have read that there are a lot of trouble with SCSI-Adapters, and SMP.
Please respond.
I will not hesitate to send you more information about it!
