Well, I already implemented just that. 
I forwarded it to Linus, but he told me that he
would prefer not to get anymore subdirectorys in /
proc before 1.3

I'll post the patches against pl91 tonight when I get back home to 
my sources.  

A very interesting job will be to find standard output format so 
that a tool like xosview can display things like the SCSIbus load(s), 
driver status, etc. for all scsi drivers.
