Looking more I have found that problem of this trouble isn't adapter driver, but its LILO args parsing, because: -- aha152x compiled into kernel and configured by LILO with: append = "aha152x=0x340,12,7,1 parport=0x378,7,3" or append = "aha152x=0x340,12,7,1" doesn't work (I can see boot message "0 hosts found") and -- aha152x compiled as module and initialised by: modprobe aha152x aha152x=0x340,12,7,1 works correctly. Note: old Adaptec AHA 1510 have no BIOS.
