Hello all,
I bought a brand new machine, a IBM Pc Server 320, with PCI bus, and
an Adaptec2940 SCSI controller card. I want to install linux in it,
but this configuration is not supported by Slackware2.3, as I noticed.
I've seen the file Hardware-HOWTO, and it said about a kernel located in
ftp://remus.nrl.navy.mil/pub/Linux/ that should recognize my
hardware.
But I can't connect to this machine. Does anyone have this
configuration ? It's the first time I'm trying to install Linux on a
machine with SCSI adapter, so I'm VERY "loose".
Any help would be REAL apreciated.
Thanks a lot,
Fabio Mengue.
