I'm trying to install the Adaptec 2930cu SCSI card, with no luck.
It is listed in the compatible hardware list as a tier one card, yet it is not detected by Linux RH6.0. This is a PCI card.
I currently have an Adaptec 2903 in there and would like to get them both operable.
I tried disabling Plug and Play from the computers BIOS as well as from the 2930 SCSI card's BIOS, to no avail.
Does anyone know of a way to get this to work?
I have read something about this happening to the 2940/U/UW, is this the same problem?

My system is an intel based PC with an AMD k6450 processer, 128mb ram;20gb quantum bigfoot IDE hdd; TEAC ext 8x SCSI CDR; two external tape drives, (4mm dat and 9track)
Thanks in advance for your help,
Jack Connolly
