Hey... I know this one...
I have a DLT7000 on a Dell Poweredge 6300.
When running Dell Diagnostics and testing the tape, I'll get:
I/O card parity interrupt at <memory:address>.
Type (S)hut off NMI, (R)eboot, any other key to continue
(Damn.. I allready know it by heart :-((
Dell has been looking for the problem for 'bout one and a half weeks for now,
and they haven't come up with a solution besides moving the tape drive to a
different controller.
This won't help you much, besides the fact that you now know that this is a
hardware related problem (For me at least).
