Hi,
i have 2 machines, both are equipped with a symbios 53c875 controller.
Both controllers connect to the hostchannel of a cmd 5440. (Due to this, one
controller uses scsi id 6)
This seems to work ok.
But if i play around sending RESERVE_UNIT (or RELEASE_UNIT) commands using
SCSI_IOCTL_SEND_COMMAND i get scsi bus resets. (sometimes other errors too)
Code to do this is derived from scsiinfo-1.7.
I tried both the (bsd) ncr and the new symbios driver. Same results.
Does anyone have a clue regarding this setup or experiences with
reserve/release unit ?
