Is the IOMEGA 2GB JAZZ drive supported?

I've just installed a 2GB JAZZ drive in a PC running Linux. The
ADAPTEC 2940 identifies the drive at boot time but the Kernel doesn't
appear to notice the drive.
I know the IOMEGA 1GB JAZZ drive is supported by Linux.
Is the 2GB JAZZ drive supported?
