Hi,

I'm new to this list, so don't get annoyed when I post
some dumb questions :) I've read the HOWTO already.

I'm a bit confused by all the different libraries/information
on scsi provided with Linux. I use RedHat 5.2 at home, with
an Adaptec 2940 PCI adapter, but I can't get the example
from the HOWTO working.

The sg-interface is installed (it shows up when I use 'lsmod') and
works since cdda2wav works.

If I want to program an application in C which communicates with a
processor device over the SCSI bus, what should I use and how should I do
it?
I took a peek at the cdda2wav source code, but that uses a library called
lib_schily.a or something. I didn't find any email on the author and no
information on how to use it.

Can anyone please help me?

Thanks,

Bert.
