I am running Mandrake 6 with a symbios 53c416 which I load viia
/etc/rc.d/rc.local with the command
insmod /lib/modules/2.2.9-23mdk/scsi/sym53c416.o
The card loads fine but anytime I try to use the Jaz for reading or
writing the system locks solid requiring a cold boot. I can navigate
around and look fine. Has anyone run into this? I have used this drive
in linux before so I do not think it is at fault. Any suggestions would
be appreciated as this is driving me nuts ;-).
