I recently upgraded from 1.2.8 to 1.3.28, and in doing so, have noticed
that the autodetect routines for the adaptec 152x were changed. They
don't work anymore, much to my chagrin. :(
I can force a correct IRQ, base address, and even get disconnect disabled,
through the aha152x= boot line option. However, the kernel detects parity
as enabled, when it is really disabled on the card. (Currently I'm using
aha152x=0x340,12,7,0.) Is there any way (short of kernel hacking) I could
get 1.3.28 to correctly disable parity? Or should I even worry about
it? (It seems stable so far.)
