Hi, I am looking for some help to get an old SCSI device going: an
Abaton scanner. I've diagnosed the problem as to why the scanner is
giving me problems, it resets itself whenever it receives the SCSI
command TEST_UNIT_READY. It subsequently takes 2 minutes to go through
its reset gyrations, during which time it ignores the SCSI bus.
Of course, Linux doesn't recognize the scanner.
So, I have attempted to abort the TEST_UNIT_READY command in the low
level driver (the aha1542). However, my attempts didn't seem to work.
Does anyone have any tips as to how to work around this problem?
