Not really, but a direct support of the SYM53C875/6 of the PQS/PDS board
is currently being under test and an experimental support can be tried
under linux-2.0.36 using driver sym53c8xx-1.3b.
ftp://ftp.tux.org/pub/roudier/drivers/linux/sym53c8xx/README
This file explains how to patch 2.0.36 for driver sym53c8xx-1.3b.
The original changes are from James Bottomley. I have changed a bit James'
patch when I have incorporated his code and am currently expecting results
from James. Btw, I just may have broken James' patch since I haven't any
PQS board to test the driver with.
With this patch, the sym53c8xx driver just drives directly the 53C8XX chip
of the PQS/PDS board. It is kind of passthru driver for the PQS board. ;-)

Gérard.
