	I just got a Gigabyte GA-586ATP motherboard and a GA-410
pci scsi board and I can't get it to work with Linux. It works
with dos. When I boot to Linux it detects the board at irq 0.
According to the how to this can be caused by a defective pci
bios or a configuration problem. It gives a work around of
editing the source code and recompiling the kernel. I have tried
this and it didn't work. Is there a command I can give Linux
when it is booting up to get it to recognize it on irq 9? There
are only two jumpers on the scsi board. Jp1 is set to inta and
jp3 is set to primary scsi card. If this is a bios problem can
any one verify this so I can return the board?
