I have an scsi adapter Adaptec ava 1505 (perfectly compatible with linux
according to the linux Hardware Compatibility list) and i am currently
running linux mandrake 5.2 on a 200mmx pentium with 128 mega Ram. I just
recompiling my 2.2.1 kernel with the appropriate low-level driver and
with the SCSI support (not as a module).
But at the reboot my system doesnt recgnize it:
scsi: 0 hosts
scsi: detected totals.
This is the message i get at the boot. And in fact when i try using the
scanimage command with sane i have the follow message: Sane-start:
invalid argument.
What can I do? I know a lot of people who use the same adapter
succesfully with their linuxes bout are too technical and i dont
understand a thing...I am a linux newbie!!! Please help me...my english
is trerrible and i didnt find any update howtos that can help me!!!
