Hi. I am frantically searching for some good Linux developers...actually,
people who can seriously hack through code. I have some jobs open in the
Silicon Valley with a start-up company that really would like to hire some
people but just can't find anyone. They're a great start-up that is already
profitable after their first round of funding (which is really, really good)
and they need linux people.

Please contact me, Leann Das at (510) 739-0261 or leann@recruiter.net

Here are two job postings. I am also looking for security analysts.

UNIX Kernel Architect

Play a leadership role in the development and enhancement of the kernel for
Client's Linux based embedded network appliances. Responsibilities include new
development, porting, testing, performance tuning, and running benchmarks to
identify operating system bottlenecks and interfacing with hardware team to
suggest enhancements for future products. Requires a BS/MS in CS/EE with 5+
years of experience in UNIX internal developments, system level trouble
shooting, bug fixing and feature enhancements. Experience with virtual memory,
file systems, and knowledge of MP systems and architecture is also needed.
Experience on MIPS or PowerPC CPUs a plus. Requires a BS/MS in CS/EE or
equivalent with 3+ years of relevant experience.

Network Management Engineer

Play a leadership role in the development and enhancement of next generation
network management interfaces for Client's embedded network appliances.
Responsibilities include definition, implementation, and performance tuning.
Requires a BS/MS in CS/EE or equivalent with 3+ years of experience in the
areas of TCP/IP, Ethernet, HTTP, DNS, SNMP, FTP, NFS, DHCP, PPP, etc. for UNIX
based systems.

Thanks!
