Hi

I'm trying to load Slakware 3.5 onto an HP Vectra (SCSI Adapter: Adaptec
AIC-7880) with 1GB disk.

Whilst swap/native is being formatted and during the load process, I'm getting
the SCSI timeout errors on the console.

The data seems to writing OK (albeit slowly) and not corrupted but this is
worrying as the Vectra is pegged for becoming a live machine.

Any ideas?

Jim
