I have hot swapped Wangtek 4mm DATs, generic CD-ROMs and (idle)
IBM SCSI-2 HDs (once or twice for the HD) on a Linux 0.99.x box with
an AHA-1540CF before. It's been a while, but the system did not hang or
crash...
