Hello!
I have the following problem:
I have a 486 with some generic NCR5380 card (zilog chip , but seeems
to be comaptible, g_NCR5380 finds it) and
an escom scanner ( but it says itīs a tamarack 12000c, at least when
I ask it per SCSI vendor info)
Everytime when I try to start scanimage ( from the Sane package, ver
1.00) , I get a message saying:
Rejecting unkown message 0x80 on .....
an hangs up.... completly....
no kernel dump, no nothing, just dead, so i suppose itīs waiting for
something.....
It happens on kernel 2.0.34 and 2.2pre5.
g_NCR5380 is build as module.
scsiinfo quits saying the option/command is not supported... (fopen)
Any ideas?
