I'm looking for anyone who might be working on a driver for the AMD 79c974
SCSI chipset. Here is a description of one system that uses this chipset:
The machine is an HP Vectra Pentium 90 PCI 32mb ram, 2gb disk
The SCSI controller is based on an AMD 79c974 chip
The video controller is based on the S3 864 chip set
Both SCSI and video are integrated on the motherboard
According to HP, there is no known support for Linux or Free-BSD.
There are drivers for both OS-2 and SCO Unix for the SCSI.
