Just wondering: does it look like a hardlock? Could it be the same kernel panic
I'm seeing (Inactive in scsi_request_queueable)? I didn't notice I got kernel
panics until I restarted using the serial console again.

Since the panic happens in generic SCSI code, it's possible your problem is the
same as mine (I have a Sym875, not 2940UW).
