Is the same chipset of Adaptec 2940U2W card, and it works great, at
least with RH5.2 (or kernel 2.0.36): you have to choose AIC78xx driver:
with redhat 5.2, it's auto-detected during installation in easy mode.
It's pretty fast, too (with a U2W hard disk). I have dual boot
windoze/linux and when I boot to linux seems like I am running it on
another much more expensive machine!
