Hi
New to the list, and have been trying and trying to install Linux on an old
Compaq Proliant 2000 machine with a Compaq Side/2e SCSI controller. I have
so far checked Redhat and Slackware installations with no luck. Not even a
mention on this controller. I have checked out the beta or alpha controller
support, with no luck. I can install it on another slower machine, but I
would rather use it on this machine seeing it is actually a pentium :).
Any help at all would be most appreciated. I do not code, unfortunately, so
I have no ability to write a driver of my own. If anyone knows of a location
to grab this, or even has a beta or alpha level driver that is somewhat
stable, please contact me at this address.
Thanks in advance
-Don
