You'd have had a better response to your queries if you had posted to the
linux-raid mailing list instead.
Try contacting Charles Dasher at cdasher@ami.com. He wrote to me when I
posted a couple of things about the Megaraid driver giving problems on my
SMP system (they've been duplicated by at least one other guy).
