Greetings. I'm having trouble with mounting a zip disk in RedHat 5.1 Using
an Adaptech AHA-1520b which I understand is a troublesome card anyway.

I finally got the card working in linux and these are the messages I
receive on boot up :

aha152x: processing commandline: ok
aha152x: BIOS test: passed, detected 1 controller(s)
aha152x0: vital data: PORTBASE=0x340, IRQ=10, SCSI ID=7,

aha152x: trying software interrupt, ok.

When I attempt to mount a zip drive using the command "mount /dev/sda1
/mnt/zip" I receive the following errors :

scsi : aborting command due to timeout : pid 13, scsi0, channel 0, id 5,

I've searched IRC, the web, the SCSI-HOWTO and usenet. I'm still stuck on
this problem. I would love to get my zip and cd-r working in linux and any
help would be appreciated.

Also, as far as I know this setup is terminated properly and works fine in
windows.
