Hi all,
I was having troubles with an Dual Intel RC440 LX board (two PII
300). The kernel locked up up to 2.0.35 version. It was reproductable,
just compiling kernel and a ping -f could lock the kernel in few seconds.

I installed 2.0.36 and tested it throughouly, compiling kernel with make
-j 8, a couple of ping floods from two machines simultaneously and at the
same time, a backup to a remote scsi tape.

I had no problem at all. It's running very stable. Furthermore, the new
adaptec driver included in the kernel (5.1.4) works great (it has an
onboard 7880 controller).

So, add this board to any white list we have and thanks to Alan, Doug and
the hacker who discovered the interrupt handling bug (sorry, I don't
remember who), which I know it was completely hidden for a long
time (two years?).

PS: as the subject says, this is just and only a report, please do not
flame me arguing that my message is broadcasted with no useful
information (you know you are... ;-). I know there are many people
suffering this SMP lock up with similar boards.
